Baroda High School (Alkapuri) a co-educational English Medium School was founded on 13th Aug.1974 by Baroda Lions Club Educational Trust, a registered Charitable Trust. Demand for good English Medium schools had considerably increased with a result that when the Government of Gujarat allotted a plot of land in the Alkapuri area, the journey of Baroda High School, Alkapuri was begun. The Secondary & Hr. Secondary Section was started with a handful of pupils in the year 1979 and now has around 640 pupils in the year 2015-16
